Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wahoo McDaniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDaniel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is War Dance. Balboa has chosen Punch Drunk as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Wahoo McDaniel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Balboa! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by McDaniel as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Michael Balboa has been cut. Balboa loads up on a big right hand but McDaniel slips the punch. Balboa throws a series of punches but McDaniel moves out of range. McDaniel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McDaniel has Balboa up against the cage in a clinch.
McDaniel lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Balboa backwards. McDaniel makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Balboa working hard to break the clinch. McDaniel lands a right hand.
That has opened up Michael Balboa's cut even more. This has been an exciting period of action! McDaniel is working Balboa over against the cage. McDaniel landing knees to the head.
A right handed body shot lands from McDaniel.
Balboa looks gassed! McDaniel lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Balboa backwards. Balboa being controlled against the cage. Balboa is trying to break free. McDaniel manages to break the clinch.
Balboa jabbing away but nothing is landing. McDaniel lands with an overhand left.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDaniel paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. McDaniel looks to throw the jab but Balboa is out of range. McDaniel waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Balboa. McDaniel misses with a hook. Balboa ducked under it nicely. McDaniel throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Balboa's head.
The cut above Michael Balboa's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Wahoo McDaniel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A telegraphed right hand from Balboa misses the target. Balboa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A shot to the liver by McDaniel. Beautiful body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! McDaniel closes the distance and clinches. McDaniel manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
McDaniel lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. McDaniel lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Balboa or not. A nice right hand lands inside from McDaniel.
Michael Balboa's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. A right handed body shot lands from McDaniel.
McDaniel breaks from the clinch.
McDaniel rushes Balboa and presses him up against the cage. McDaniel lands with a left to the head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Michael Balboa's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
