Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tiger Jones!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balls lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Balls rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Balls sizes up Jones with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Horrible takedown by Balls or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Balls uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Balls is just out of range.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Balls manages to avoid it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Balls throws a hook but Jones blocks it.

Balls closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jones pushes Balls off but Balls dives into side control.
Jones tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Balls wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Balls throwing strikes but Jones manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Balls is looking for a sweep.

Balls shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Balls shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.

and Balls counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Balls goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

and Balls counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jones!
Balls looking to ground and pound but Jones is blocking nicely.
Jones tries to hold on but Balls postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jones bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Balls dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Balls's head and hops out.
Balls takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.
Balls takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Balls counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Jones makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Balls shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely.
