The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm throws a big shot that misses.
A big left from Storm misses.
Genetia throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Storm uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Genetia.
Storm uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Genetia has time to react.
Horrible takedown by Storm or perhaps it was just good defense by Genetia which made him look bad.

Genetia cracks the inside of Storm's front leg.
Storm shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Genetia pinned against the cage. Genetia gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Genetia is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Storm had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Storm. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Genetia moves out of range as Storm strikes.

Genetia drops Storm with a beautiful combination! Storm stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Genetia is looking for the KO!

Storm is rocked!
Genetia lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Oh Storm is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Genetia scores with a hook to the body. Storm takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Genetia scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Genetia goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Storm might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
