Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roger D Roger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cranium Cruncher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Roger might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jedi Mind Tricks - On the Eve of War (Instrumental). Roger D Roger could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cranium Cruncher's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cranium Cruncher!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roger misses with a body shot.
Roger throws a hook but Cruncher blocks it.
Nice defenses there by Cruncher.
Roger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Roger wants it to stay on the feet.
Roger throws a series of punches but Cruncher avoids them all with ease.
Roger thows a body shot but no joy.
Roger connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
No luck for Cruncher with that takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cruncher shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Roger as he avoids it easily.

Cruncher moves in looking to clinch but Roger pushes him off.

Cruncher shoots for a double leg takedown but Roger sprawls well. He's pushed Cruncher's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cruncher doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Roger throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Roger D Roger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roger misses with a straight left.

Cruncher feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Cruncher is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Roger is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Roger has escaped and now he's on top!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Roger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cruncher works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Cruncher has his foot on Roger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Roger works his way back into a safe position though.

Cruncher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Roger gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Roger is working Cruncher over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Cruncher is desperately trying to improve his position but Roger has a good base and remains in mount.

Roger can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cruncher is looking to escape.
Cruncher seems to have recovered his senses.

Roger bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cruncher's head backwards.

Roger lands with a hook. Cruncher tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Cruncher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roger tries to avoid it but Cruncher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roger to the ground. Roger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nice takedown defense from Roger. No joy for Cruncher on that attempt.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Cruncher closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cruncher lands in his opponent's guard.

Roger is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cruncher.
