Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Martin Cristos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Why (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cristos's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cypress Hill - Hand on the Pump. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

11 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Cristos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stevie Why! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Why scores with a nice right hand.
Cristos fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Why. Why swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cristos counters with a nice leg kick. Why shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cristos counters with a slapping leg kick. Why is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Why checks a leg kick nicely. Cristos looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Donk. Cristos catches Why right on the button with a cross. Cristos lands with a shot to the body. A left lands for Cristos.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cristos throws a right and a left that Why avoids nicely. Why has his takedown stuffed and Cristos counters with a slapping leg kick. Cristos chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Why closes the distance but Cristos moves to the side and Cristos makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Cristos lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Why tries to clinch but fails miserably and Cristos counters with a thumping low kick. Why throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Cristos to counter with a crisp jab. Cristos doesn't manage to clinch there - Why circles away.
Why has his takedown stuffed and Cristos counters with a thumping low kick. Martin Cristos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stevie Why.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Why wants to clinch enabling Cristos to counter with a crisp jab. Cristos thows a leg kick but Why checks it and Why counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Why clinches. Why tries for a takedown. No joy.

Why takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Cristos tries to work over Why's front leg with a kick but Why checks it. Why is trying desperately to land a takedown but Cristos is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Why. Cristos lands a glancing blow to the side of Why's head. Cristos misses the jab. Cristos misses with an uppercut. Why saw that one coming. Why fails with an attempt to clinch.
Why throws a nice looking combination but Cristos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cristos takes a swing at Why's ribcage but misses. Why tries for a takedown but Cristos circles away easily and Cristos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Why gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cristos counters with a left to the body. Why with a poor takedown and Cristos counters with an outside leg kick.
Why tries to clinch but Cristos moves away and Cristos makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Why looks gassed! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cristos lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Why has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Why and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Cristos throws a low kick, looking for Why's leg but Why calmly moves out of range. Cristos tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cristos thows a left - swing and a miss! Cristos finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Cristos misses the shot to the body. Why with a poor takedown and Cristos counters with a nice low kick that buckles Why's knee momentarily. Why shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cristos counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A chopping leg kick lands by Cristos. A lazy body kick from Why and Cristos counters with a good low kick that Why was not able to check. Stevie Why is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd cheers as Cristos lands an impressive looking overhand right. Why doesn't seem phased though. Why has his takedown stuffed and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Martin Cristos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stevie Why. Why is breathing heavily. Nice shot lands for Cristos.
That's one minute gone in the round. Why takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Cristos jabs at Why's body. Cristos cracks Why with a right hand to the side of the head. Cristos scores with a hook. Why darts in trying to clinch and Cristos counters with a straight right hand. Martin Cristos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cristos digs a good body shot into Why's ribs. Why misses with a takedown and Cristos counters with a low kick, right behind Why 's knee.

Stevie Why seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Why walks into a stiff left hand from Cristos. Why is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A looping hook to the body misses from Why. Cristos does a little dance to reset his feet. Why throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cristos counters with an inside leg kick. Martin Cristos is winning the standup battle so far. Cristos works Why's body with a nice hook. Why walks into a straight right hand from Cristos.

Why looks to throw a body kick and Cristos counters with a thumping low kick. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cristos, as that shot connected.
Why looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Cristos is looking to slow Why down with leg kicks. Why takes a shot to the body in his stride.
An inside leg kick lands from Cristos. Why takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Why slips a jab from Cristos. Cristos lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cristos buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Why misses with a lunging right hand
and Cristos counters with a right hand to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! An inside leg kick lands from Cristos. Good shot there by Cristos. Why with a poor takedown and Cristos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Cristos connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Why momentarily.
Cristos lands a slapping body shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cristos gets a clinch. Cristos lands a body punch in the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Why tries to clinch but Cristos is having none of it. The fight stays on the outside here - Why looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Why takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cristos throws a head kick that half lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cristos misses with a left hand and Why counters with a stiff right hand. Why tries to clinch and Cristos counters with a straight right hand. Why wants to clinch but Cristos slips to the side and Why takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cristos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Why.
Why misses with a double jab
and Cristos counters with a stiff right hand. Cristos paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Cristos circles away from the clinch attempt and Cristos makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Why on the wrong end of a nice jab. Cristos scoring well with a low kick there.
Why has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Cristos gets in close and instigates a clinch. A short right from Why. Why drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Cristos cracks Why with a nice body shot. Why is working for takedown but Cristos is calmly controlling the position for now. Cristos goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cristos scores with a shoulder strike. A left hand lands to the body for Cristos.
A short body shot lands from Cristos as the two fighters clinch.

Nice body punch from Cristos - that landed with a thud.

Stevie Why has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cristos pushes Why back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Why has Cristos pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cristos manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Cristos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Why can do to turn this around? A hook to the body from Cristos.
Cristos manages to break the clinch.
Why's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cristos connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Why scrambles back to his feet. Cristos lands a jab to the head.
Why steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cristos. Cristos scores with a jab. Why acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

This has been an exciting period of action! Cristos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cristos throws a quick inside leg kick. Why throws a left and a right that both miss
and Cristos counters with a lovely shot to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Martin Cristos showed his dominance in that final round. Well Cristos has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
