Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlo Labayen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlo Labayen! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Labayen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stone tries to avoid it but Labayen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stone to the ground. Stone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Labayen tries to clinch up but Stone circles away and keeps his distance. Labayen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Labayen darts in trying to clinch and Stone counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Labayen's guard now. Labayen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Stone looking to pass the guard. Labayen controls Stone momentarily but Stone frees himself. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone wanted to stand there but Labayen had control of the position.
Carlo Labayen has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Stone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stone lands a really nice looking cross but Labayen seems unphased.
Labayen has a takedown stuffed. Labayen swings for the body but Stone moves out of range.
Stone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Labayen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stone connects with a body shot. Ben Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stone fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Stone cracks the inside of Labayen's front leg. Labayen looks gassed! Stone connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Stone misses with a head kick.
Labayen on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Labayen gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Labayen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Stone finds it's way round the side to connect with Labayen's head. Labayen takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Labayen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Stone lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Carlo Labayen has been cut. A nice combination there by Stone.
Labayen takes one on the button. Stone connects with a right that clearly hurt Labayen. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Stone proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Labayen collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Stone!
