Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Noriega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ze Minotauro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noriega comes into the arena with GO TO SLEEP blaring out of the sound system. Minotauro has chosen Acid Thunder - Fast Eddie as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minotauro misses with a leg kick
and Noriega counters with an inside leg kick.
Minotauro throws a poor cross that misses
and Noriega counters with a thumping low kick.
Minotauro looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Noriega shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Noriega swings away with a body shot that misses
and Minotauro counters with a solid body kick.
Noriega tries to land a front kick but Minotauro steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Minotauro connects with a solid leg kick.
Noriega fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Noriega misses with a body shot.
Noriega jabs Minotauro to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Minotauro moves out of range as Noriega strikes.
Ze Minotauro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Minotauro has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Noriega finds it's way round the side to connect with Minotauro's head.
Minotauro bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Noriega moves into range and connects with a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Minotauro tries to clinch but Noriega moves away
and Noriega counters with a nice right hand that sends Minotauro toppling to the canvas! Minotauro scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Noriega finish him?!
It looks like Ze Minotauro has been cut.
Minotauro leaves his chin hanging out and Noriega seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Minotauro crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Orlando Noriega!
