PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ming Xin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Pinta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xin comes to the cage accompanied by TEACH THE WORLD. Pinta has chosen God Is an Astronaut - All Is Violent, All Is Bright as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Thomas Pinta!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xin misses with an attempted mid kick.
Xin looks to score with a jab to the body but Pinta is just out of range.
Pinta is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A combination from Xin does no damage.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Xin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pinta - the referee stops the clock and Xin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pinta. Xin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Xin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pinta is fending him off so far but Xin persists. Nope, Pinta circles away and we're back to standing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Thomas Pinta hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Pinta does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Xin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pinta moves away.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Xin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
