Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dre Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Moxon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Battle kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is VICTORY REMIX. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battle misses with a few strikes there.
Moxon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Battle manages to avoid it.
Moxon slips under a jab.
Moxon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Battle.
Moxon throws a sloppy head kick and Battle moves out of range easily.
Moxon throws the left hand but Battle avoids the punch easily.
Battle avoids the body shot from Moxon.
Moxon misses with a straight right.

Moxon dives in and grabs Battle's left leg, looking for a takedown. Battle pushes down on Moxon's head and hops out.

Moxon throws a hook to the side of Battle's head but Battle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Moxon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
