Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones moves away from the strike by Lawler.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lawler. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lawler throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range.
Lawler throws a lazy uppercut
and Jones counters with a three punch combo that has Lawler backing up. Lawler nods at Jones to acknowledge the strikes.
A telegraphed right hand from Lawler misses the target.
Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jones throws out a powerful jab.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Lawler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lawler thumps Jones with a low kick.
Lawler just misses with a punch to the body.
Lawler looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well.
Jones lands a slapping body shot.

Lawler throws a poor cross that misses
and Lawler takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lawler throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
Lawler misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jones counters with a straight right hand.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Jones avoids the body shot from Lawler.
Lawler looks to land a body kick but Jones moved away.
Jones throws a half hearted mid kick.
Lawler throws a jab when Jones was well out of range.
Jones on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
The crowd cheers as Lawler lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jones doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Tiger Jones has been cut.
Lawler tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.

Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lawler tries to work over Jones's front leg with a kick but Jones checks it.
Lawler throws a big shot that misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lawler, right into the meat.
Lawler is looking to land body kicks.
Lawler ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Lawler throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lawler tries a low kick but Jones avoids it.
Lawler throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones misses the shot to the body.
Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lawler connects with a body shot.
Lawler throws a big shot that misses.
Jones moves out of range of the body kick.
Lawler tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lawler tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Lawler.
Lawler paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Crunch! Lawler slams his shin into Jones's torso.
Lawler misses with a wild body shot.

Jones misses the body punch
and Lawler counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lawler.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lawler lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lawler.
Jones fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A nice right hand lands inside from Lawler.
Lawler gets through Jones's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Lawler tries to throw a body punch but Jones avoids it by throwing Lawler back against the cage.
Lawler lands a left hand.
Lawler lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
A shot in the inside from Lawler.
Lawler pushes Jones back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Lawler lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lawler goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Lawler tries to throw a body punch but Jones avoids it by throwing Lawler back against the cage.
Jones content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Lawler can't find room to land a body shot as Jones controls the action.
And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Lawler dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tiger Jones's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jones tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Jones moves out of range of the body kick.
Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lawler looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Lawler throws a body kick that misses.
Lawler looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range.
A bone on bone clash there as Jones blocks the leg kick.
Nice uppercut there from Lawler.
Lawler attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Lawler misses with a few strikes there.
Lawler throws a nice inside leg kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lawler uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jones has time to react.
Lawler lands with a cross.
Jones is rocked!
Lawler misses the shot to the body.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones avoids the body shot from Lawler.
Jones swings widly with a right hand
and Lawler counters with a right hand to the body.
Jones seems to have got his legs back now.
Lawler has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lawler drops Jones with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jones looks back up at him and smiles so Lawler waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Tiger Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lawler throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lawler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lawler cracks Jones with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Jones falls to his knees and Lawler doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eric Lawler!
