The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Leopoldo walks into a straight right hand from Williams.
Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Leopoldo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Leopoldo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Simon Williams seems to be getting the better of the standup.
A looping hook to the body misses from Leopoldo. Williams does a little dance to reset his feet.
Leopoldo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Williams tries to sprawl but Leopoldo drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Leopoldo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Leopoldo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Atilla Leopoldo.

Leopoldo lands a really nice looking cross but Williams seems unphased.

Leopoldo throws a left that rocks Williams and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Leopoldo dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Williams regain composure!

It looks like Simon Williams has been cut.
Leopoldo lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Williams! Leopoldo senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Williams out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
