Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alan Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahmoud Denjat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bundy comes to the cage accompanied by God Hates a Coward. Denjat has chosen U.S.A. National Anthem as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alan Bundy! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mahmoud Denjat! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Denjat throws a leg kick but Bundy sees it coming and moves out of range. Bundy cracks Denjat with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Denjat closes the distance and clinches up with Bundy, looking for a takedown. Denjat pushes Bundy against the cage but Bundy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Denjat throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Bundy on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Bundy misses with a two punch combination.
Denjat throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Bundy just misses with a punch to the body.
Denjat motions for Bundy to come forward. Denjat throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Some wild striking there from Bundy.
Bundy works Denjat's body with a nice hook. Denjat on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Bundy checks a leg kick. Alan Bundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bundy misses with a low kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bundy thuds a left hand into Denjat's body. Denjat fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bundy to the ground. Denjat is now in Bundy's guard. Bundy working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Denjat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bundy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bundy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Denjat is one step ahead there. Bundy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Denjat gets full guard. Bundy preventing the sweep. Denjat is trying to keep Bundy in close.
Bundy works over Denjat with some ground and pound from guard. Bundy wants to control from the top but Denjat keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bundy content to stall in guard here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bundy trying to control the position from guard on top but Denjat is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Denjat not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bundy tries to free his leg and advance position but Denjat is retaining full guard.
Alan Bundy has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Bundy throws a right and a left that Denjat avoids nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Denjat throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Bundy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Denjat throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bundy was covering up waiting for the punch and Denjat finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Denjat postures up.
Bundy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Denjat can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Denjat throws a big elbow that misses. Denjat throwing strikes from guard but Bundy blocks nicely. Bundy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bundy wants to improve his position but instead Denjat has moved into half guard.
Denjat prevents Bundy from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bundy is in trouble now - Denjat has advanced to mount! Bundy is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bundy tries to hold on but Denjat pushes him away. Bundy is bucking up trying to escape but Denjat cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Denjat lands with some strikes. Bundy can't escape the position.
Denjat has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bundy's face.
Denjat lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Bundy is rocked! Denjat is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Bundy goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Denjat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mahmoud Denjat! Mahmoud Denjat is the new welterweight champion! Mahmoud Denjat decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
