Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Richard Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Forester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawkins comes to the cage accompanied by Prong - Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck . Forester has chosen Roar by Treat as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Richard Dawkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edward Forester!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Dawkins - that will leave a mark!
Forester dips to his left and cracks Dawkins with an uppercut!
A nice leg kick lands there from Dawkins.
Dawkins plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
A bone on bone clash there as Forester blocks the leg kick.

Dawkins drives through and clinches with Forester against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Forester avoiding damage as Dawkins throws knees to the body.
Dawkins tries to work over Forester's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Forester pushes Dawkins back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Dawkins connects with a nasty looking knee right to Forester's face.
Dawkins pushes Forester back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Forester pressing his opponent against the cage.
Dawkins lands an elbow inside.
Dawkins pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Forester looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Forester can't break the clinch.
Dawkins lands a body punch in the clinch.
Come on Forester - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Forester wants to break free but Dawkins has control.
Forester wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Dawkins stalling.

Dawkins lands on the inside with an uppercut.
A body shot lands from Dawkins.

Forester escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A nice leg kick lands there from Dawkins.
Forester blocks the body kick.
Dawkins avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dawkins throws a leg kick but Forester sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Dawkins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fighters circle momentarily. Forester darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Dawkins clinches up against the cage.

Forester breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dawkins jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dawkins throws a quick inside leg kick.
Dawkins bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Forester's head backwards.
Dawkins misses with a kick to the body.
Forester digs a good body shot into Dawkins's ribs.
Edward Forester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dawkins swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Dawkins. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dawkins.
Dawkins fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Forester checks it well.
Dawkins throws a wild body kick that Forester sees coming a mile off.
Dawkins uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Forester.
Forester avoids the head kick by Dawkins.
Dawkins takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Forester lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Dawkins throws a shot to the body.
A left and a right from Forester both land. Nice combination.
Dawkins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dawkins tries to land a front kick but Forester steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Dawkins slips a jab from Forester.
Dawkins moves out of range of the strikes.
Dawkins throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Dawkins moves out of range of the strikes.
Dawkins throws a leg kick which misses Forester's front leg but catches the back leg as Forester tries to avoid it.
Forester swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dawkins.
Jab, jab by Dawkins - just one landing.


Forester is rocked!
Forester gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Dawkins points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Forester wakes up just in time to hear Dawkins thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Richard Dawkins!
