Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Lasha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chong comes to the cage accompanied by I SHOT THE SHERIFF. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bob Chong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jake Lasha!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lasha misses with a leg kick
and Chong counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chong scores with a kick to the body.
Chong lands a body shot.
Lasha looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice defenses there by Chong.
Lasha throws the left hand but Chong avoids the punch easily.
Chong looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Chong seems to be working for a kimura but Lasha defends the submission attempt.
Chong is taking a breather. Lasha says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Chong thows a huge punch but Lasha dodges it nicely.
Chong landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chong takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chong seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Lasha is rocked!
Lasha is in trouble now - Chong has advanced to mount!
Lasha is still in real trouble! Can Chong finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big strike lands for Chong! That's really hurt Lasha and he's turned his back - Chong keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Chong jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Chong!
