The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flodder has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Flodder is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bob is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Flodder misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bob can do anything to dispel that myth.

Flodder is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bob is surviving well by controlling Flodder's body position as best he can.

Flodder throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Bob because Flodder loaded up on that one.

Flodder is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bob is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bob flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Flodder anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bob and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Flodder slips an arm under Bob chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Flodder has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Flodder is squeezing on Bob like an anaconda would it's prey. Bob fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kees Flodder!
Kees Flodder very nearly forgot to thank Conviction amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
