Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rage Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey The Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
22 - 9 - 2, fighting out of New York, Rage Blade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeffrey The Dude!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blade defends well against a solid takedown attempt from The Dude.
Blade buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The Dude tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The Dude gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The Dude misses with a body shot
and Blade counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Blade has The Dude up against the cage in a clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Blade - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The Dude tries to pull guard but Blade won't allow it.
Blade pushes The Dude back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
The Dude is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Blade to keep the fight standing.
Rage Blade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeffrey The Dude.
The Dude takes an elbow to the temple.

Blade is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

The Dude shoots in for a double leg but Blade sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The Dude manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Blade on his heels. He'll look to pass Blade's guard now, I'm sure.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The Dude stops Blade from standing up.
The Dude drops back, looking for a kneebar! Blade looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Blade looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Blade!

The Dude is trying to control Blade's posture but Blade avoids it.
Blade stands up and we're back to a striking position.
The Dude looks for a takedown but Blade sprawls well.
Blade tries a head kick but it misses.
The Dude moves out of range as Blade throws a body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
No luck with that takedown attempt from The Dude.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from The Dude is defended easily by Blade.
Blade is looking to clinch.
Blade leaves The Dude with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The Dude shoots in for a takedown but Blade shows good takedown defense.
The Dude throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Blade to counter with a crisp jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The Dude looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Blade tries to clinch there but The Dude circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rage Blade dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Blade tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but The Dude paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The Dude shoots in looking for a takedown but Blade manages to keep the fight standing, pushing The Dude's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Blade works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Blade lands a lovely overhand right.
A big right from The Dude misses.
Blade tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. The Dude manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The Dude shoots for a takedown but Blade saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The Dude looks to land a left hand but Blade moved out of range nicely.
Blade tries to close the distance and clinch but The Dude swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The Dude throws a hook but Blade avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The Dude fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
The Dude is breathing heavily.
Blade lands a big head kick that sends The Dude tumbling to the mat! Blade takes a step backwards and waves The Dude back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The Dude is rocked!
It looks like Jeffrey The Dude has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Look low, kick high! Blade uses the oldest trick in the book to send The Dude tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Blade is absolutely delighted - when The Dude wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Rage Blade!
