The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norton moves in looking to clinch but LaVey pushes him off.
Norton is looking to slow LaVey down with leg kicks.
LaVey looks to score with a jab to the body but Norton is just out of range.
Norton takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Taylor Norton has been cut.

Norton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
LaVey closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Norton quickly recovers to half guard.
