Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ho smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Maddox on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ho misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Maddox misses with a lunging right hand
and Ho counters with a head kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Maddox.
Maddox tries to move to mount but Ho blocks the move with his legs.
Maddox looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Ho is avoiding damage well.
Maddox tries to advance to mount but Ho denies him.
Ho gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Maddox prevents Ho from getting the reversal.
Ho might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Maddox goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ho turns into him and now he's in Maddox's guard.
Ho prevents Maddox from getting back to his feet.
Ho decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Maddox, up you get!
Sloppy strikes from Ho. Those never looked like landing.
Ho throws the kick towards the body but Maddox avoids it.
Ho throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Maddox looking to score a takedown here. Ho is defending well but Maddox drives through and ends up in Ho's guard.
Ho is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Ho looking for a sweep. Not yet Ho, not yet.
Maddox not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Maddox wants to control from the top but Ho keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maddox doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Maddox manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ho can't keep his opponent in guard - Maddox advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Ho is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Ho wants to control but Maddox is keeping busy.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ho looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Maddox trying to control the action but Ho is working from the bottom.
Maddox moves nicely into side control.
Ho struggling a bit here.
Maddox works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Maddox is working Ho over with some ground and pound from side control.

Maddox works to advance to full mount. Ho defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Maddox jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ho is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ho and Maddox has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Maddox tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Ho prevents Maddox from moving into mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Maddox is looking to take a break and control but Ho is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Brad Maddox will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ho misses with a two punch combination.
Maddox tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ho sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Maddox somewhat.
Ho misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ho moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Ho fails to land with a series of punches.

Ho is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Maddox.
Ho throws a right hand that Maddox ducks under and follows up with a left that Maddox also avoids with ease.
Ho misses with a double jab.
Maddox fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ho sprawls well initially but Maddox persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Maddox looks to land a strike but Ho avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Maddox wants to pass the guard but Ho is keeping the position.
Maddox trying to control but Ho is working from the bottom.
Ho has his foot on Maddox's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Maddox works his way back into a safe position though.

Maddox is pushing down on Ho's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ho is fighting to maintain full guard but Maddox has managed to sneak the leg through.
Ho is in trouble now - Maddox has advanced to mount!
Maddox wants to control the pace but Ho is squirming around nicely.
Maddox cracks Ho with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
It looks like Ronny Ho has been cut.

Maddox fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Ho is rocked!
Ronny Ho's cut is getting worse.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Maddox! Ho is hurt baaadly! Maddox is firing away with more strikes - Ho is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
