Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arlovski has chosen IF I DIE TONIGHT as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Russell Bell! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Arlovski! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Arlovski throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bell slips under a jab from Arlovski. Arlovski looks to land a combination but Bell avoids it well. Bell blocks a jab. Bell takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ivan Arlovski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Arlovski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bell. Arlovski throws a right hand that Bell ducks under and follows up with a left that Bell also avoids with ease. Good shot there by Bell. Arlovski misses with a left hand and Bell counters with a nice double leg into guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Bell trying to control the position from guard on top but Arlovski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bell being controlled here momentarily. Arlovski wants to stand and escape but Bell is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Bell rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Arlovski counter with a right hand. Bell showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Arlovski.
Arlovski throws a series of punches but Bell avoids them all with ease. Arlovski throws a poor cross that misses
and Bell makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Arlovski lands a jab to the nose. Arlovski misses with a lunging right hand
letting Bell counter with a right hand. Arlovski walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Arlovski misses with a lunging right hand
and Bell counters with a nice low kick that buckles Arlovski's knee momentarily. Arlovski misses with a right hand and Bell counters with a low kick, right behind Arlovski 's knee. Bell throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Bell misses with a jab to the body
and Arlovski counters with a lovely straight right hand! Arlovski might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Bell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Arlovski counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arlovski throws an off balance right hand
and Arlovski takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Arlovski lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Arlovski throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bell makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Arlovski really felt that one! Arlovski misses with a left hand and Bell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Arlovski.
Arlovski misses with a right hand and Bell counters with a series of strikes. Arlovski will be more careful next time no doubt.
Arlovski is rocked! Bell connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Arlovski tumbling to the canvas! Bell pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Arlovski was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Russell Bell! Russell Bell retains his light heavyweight title!
