Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dominick Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jay Z - Moment of Clarity. The crowd seem to be enjoying Quincy's choice of entrance music: Requiem for a Dream. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Quincy. Those never looked like landing.
Both fighters circling a little - Jackson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Quincy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jackson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Quincy throws a series of punches but Jackson avoids them all with ease.

Jackson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Quincy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jackson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jackson cracks Quincy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Quincy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jackson finds it's way round the side to connect with Quincy's head.
Quincy shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Dominick Jackson will probably get the nod.

Quincy isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jackson stacks Quincy on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jackson!

Quincy tries to get to his feet but Jackson is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Quincy is in need of a savior and steps in!

Dominick Jackson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Conviction logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
