Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Degen Gambler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels comes to the cage accompanied by Kvelertak - Blodtørst. Degen Gambler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Degen Gambler!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gambler slips under a jab from Daniels.

Daniels shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Daniels was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Daniels looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Gambler sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Daniels tries to pass to full mount but Gambler defends it.
Daniels looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Gambler is staying active underneath Daniels, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Daniels is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gambler defends it well.
Daniels is keen to just control but Gambler is a slippery customer.
Daniels is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Gambler reverses the position - he's now on top in Daniels's guard.
Gambler missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gambler throwing strikes from guard but Daniels blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daniels is trying to control the position but Gambler postures up.
Gambler tries to free his leg and advance position but Daniels is retaining full guard.
Gambler is looking to work some ground and pound but Daniels has wrist control.
Gambler content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Gambler missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Gambler trying to control but Daniels is working from the bottom.
Gambler postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Daniels preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Daniels trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Daniels has momentary wrist control but Gambler slips an elbow through the middle.
Gambler throws a big right hand that misses.
Gambler working some strikes from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gambler trying to control the position from guard on top but Daniels is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gambler looking to sit in guard and control but Daniels gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Daniels trying to control but Gambler is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gambler keeping full guard, as Daniels tries to pass.
Daniels is looking to work some ground and pound but Gambler has wrist control.
Daniels stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gambler swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Daniels is working hard here to advance position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gambler avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jim Daniels will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gambler.
Daniels keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gambler misses with a leg kick.
Gambler throws a sloppy head kick and Daniels moves out of range easily.
Daniels is looking to slow Gambler down with leg kicks.
Gambler throws a quick inside leg kick.
Gambler throws a jab when Daniels was well out of range.
Jim Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gambler uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Daniels.
Daniels tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gambler slips a straight right by Daniels.
Daniels is looking to land body kicks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Daniels is looking to chop away at Gambler's legs.
Daniels ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gambler moves away.
Gambler connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Daniels! He's out on his feet! Gambler rushes in and drops Daniels with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Degen Gambler!
