Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rikki Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Utter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown with a lazy takedown attempt
and Utter counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Utter.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Utter throws an elbow that misses. Brown uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Utter's guard. Nice move by Brown!
Brown passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Utter is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Brown's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Utter is trying to get back to full guard.
Utter is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

and Utter decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brown's guard.

Utter is looking to work some ground and pound but Brown has wrist control.

Brown escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Utter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Brown is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Utter lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Utter content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Utter wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving.
Utter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Utter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brown is keeping the position for now.
Utter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Utter keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brown's head.

Utter loads up on a big left hand. Brown felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Utter looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Brown can't hide his disappointment, as Utter celebrates the victory.
