The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Bill bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bill throws a nice head kick!
Bill shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Bill walks into a jab.
Bill misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bill cracks the inside of Silva's front leg.
Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Silva just misses with a punch to the body.
Silva lands a body shot.
Silva throws out a powerful jab.
Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Silva checks a leg kick.
Bill will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bill looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Bill persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.

Bill wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Bill misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bill scores with a takedown into Silva's guard.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Bill is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Silva is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Bill lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Silva!
Bill can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Silva is looking to escape.
Silva is looking to improve his position but Bill isn't that keen on the idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bill looking to finish Silva with some ground and pound. This is bad for Silva!
Silva is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Bill counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Bill drops back, looking for a kneebar! Silva looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Silva looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Silva!

Silva fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bill on the side of the head.

Bill is keen to just control but Silva is a slippery customer.
Buffalo Bill overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bill tries to stand and escape but Silva is controlling the position.
Bill will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

and Silva counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bill seems to have got his legs back now.
Bill throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Silva's head.
Silva throws a series of punches but Bill avoids them all with ease.
Bill feints and then cracks Silva's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Silva down.

Cyborg Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Silva drops Bill with a beautiful combination! Bill stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Silva is looking for the KO!

BOOM! Silva lands a beautiful left hook that drops Bill. Bill tries to recover but Silva is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Bill lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
