Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rolando Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaia Ky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Garcia might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sound And Fury - I've Got Rabies. Ky is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: TIAMAT - Gaia. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia throws a right and a left that Ky avoids nicely.
Ky scores with a push kick.
Garcia throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Garcia misses with a hook. Ky ducked under it nicely.
Ky swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Garcia drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ky has an active guard here but Garcia has managed to pass into half guard.
Garcia prevents Ky from improving his position.
Ky is in trouble now - Garcia has advanced to mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Garcia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Garcia is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ky is surviving well by controlling Garcia's body position as best he can.
Ky is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Garcia postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ky looks a forlorn figure.
