Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Janjak Boran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Janjak Boran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anderson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boran moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Silva tries to clinch but Boran moves away
and Boran counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Janjak Boran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid leg kick lands there for Boran.
Boran lands a nice hook to Silva's body. Silva takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Boran's corner calls for a 1-2. Boran obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Boran cracks Silva with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Boran jabs Silva to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Boran clobbers Silva with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Boran connects with a looping right hand.
Boran misses with a double jab.
Boran circles away from the clinch attempt
and Boran counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Silva moves to clinch but Boran breaks away
and Boran counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Boran connects with an inside leg kick.
Boran cracks Silva with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boran connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Boran is looking to slow Silva down with leg kicks.
Silva tries to move into range but Boran moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Boran counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Boran fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Boran lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Boran - the referee stops the clock and Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Boran. Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Silva darts in trying to clinch
and Boran counters with a body kick that stops Silva in his tracks momentarily.
Silva looks gassed!
Silva takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Boran moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boran throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Boran thuds his right hand into Silva's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Boran lunges at Silva with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Silva's hand.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Boran.
Boran is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Boran scores with a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Janjak Boran dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Boran lands a leg kick that knocks Silva off balance momentarily.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Boran - that will leave a mark!
Silva tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Boran counters with a low kick, right behind Silva 's knee.
Boran delivers a nice body kick.
Boran lands with a hook. Silva tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Silva is breathing heavily.

Boran scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Silva doesn't seem bothered though.

Boran cracks the inside of Silva's front leg.
An inside leg kick lands from Boran.
Silva stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Boran.
Boran buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boran throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Boran connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Silva momentarily.
Boran punishes Silva's body with a nice straight punch.

Boran lands with a right hand.
Boran rushes Silva with punches - Silva moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Silva goes down! Boran follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
