Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Royer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy O Leary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Royer comes to the cage accompanied by Speak Militant- Sabac Red. The crowd seem to be enjoying O Leary's choice of entrance music: one day like this. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dakota Royer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
25 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paddy O Leary!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Royer slips under a jab from O Leary.
Royer moves out of range of the leg kick from O Leary.
Royer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
O Leary wants to slow Royer down by chopping away at his legs.
O Leary fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Royer is out of range.
O Leary avoids the head kick by Royer.
O Leary gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Paddy O Leary has been cut.
Royer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
O Leary moves out of range of the body kick.
O Leary throws a low kick but Royer avoids it.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Royer. O Leary shrugs it off though.
O Leary tries to close the distance and clinch but Royer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Royer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Royer fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Royer throws a head kick that O Leary semi-blocks.
An inside leg kick from O Leary misses.
Royer connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
O Leary fails with the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Leary swings widly with a right hand
and Royer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
O Leary is rocked!
Royer cracks O Leary with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends O Leary tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Royer pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! O Leary is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dakota Royer!
Post fight, Dakota Royer took to the microphone: 'TEH DRAGONBORN!!!!!!!!'.
