Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas LaVey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Norton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaVey comes to the cage accompanied by Deicide - Scars of the Crucifix. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucas LaVey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taylor Norton!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but LaVey manages to avoid it.
LaVey takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
LaVey takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
LaVey takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Norton blocks the body kick.
Norton lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as LaVey backs up against the cage.
Norton doesn't manage to clinch there - LaVey circles away.
LaVey ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Norton has taken the fight to the clinch.
Norton stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
LaVey cracks Norton with a nice body shot.
LaVey misses with a body punch.
A right hand to the body from Norton.
Norton working aggressively here.
A short left from Norton.
LaVey throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

A nice left hand lands by Norton.
A head punch blocked on the inside by LaVey.
LaVey tries to circle away but Norton has him pinned against the cage.
LaVey is trying to break the clinch but Norton has him pressed against the cage.
Norton scores with a nice hook to the head.
Norton blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Norton tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and LaVey avoids it.
Norton lands a hook that snaps the head of LaVey backwards.
Norton looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Norton lands on the inside with an uppercut.
LaVey putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Norton in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
LaVey tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Norton avoids it.
Norton lands with a short head shot on the inside.
A frustrated look appears on Norton's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Norton manages to break the clinch.
Norton checks the leg kick.
Norton connects with a solid leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Norton tries to close the distance and clinch but LaVey swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Norton throws a big shot that misses.
Norton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Norton is defended easily by LaVey.
Norton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by LaVey.
LaVey scores with a nice body kick.
LaVey takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Norton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but LaVey paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Norton fails in his attempt to clinch.
A head kick misses from Norton.
LaVey misses with a looping left.
Norton will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
LaVey keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Taylor Norton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Norton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent LaVey stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Norton looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for LaVey!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
LaVey is wriggling around trying to escape.
Norton dominating with strikes here.
LaVey keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

LaVey is working hard here to advance position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Norton is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. LaVey can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Norton postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have LaVey in real trouble here! The ref calls for LaVey to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Taylor Norton!
Taylor Norton decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
