Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cha Cha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Hollywood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hollywood has chosen Deadbolt as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Cha Cha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Hollywood! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hollywood is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cha. A slow jab from Hollywood misses its intended target. Cha closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cha lands in his opponent's guard. Cha not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Cha tries to free his leg and advance position but Hollywood is retaining full guard. Cha trying to control but Hollywood is working from the bottom. Cha looking to pass the guard. Hollywood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cha trying to control but Hollywood is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cha wants to pass the guard but Hollywood is keeping the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Cha Cha just wasn't active enough. Hollywood throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Hollywood swings widly with a right hand
and Cha counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hollywood won't be happy with that. Cha tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cha has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Cha fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cha working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Cha throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Hollywood tries to improve position but can't. Cha working the head and body with strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hollywood is not content to let Cha control the position. Hollywood is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Cha wants to control but Hollywood is keeping him busy. Cha is putting a hurting on Hollywood here, landing some big shots from side control. Cha tries to move to mount but Hollywood blocks the move with his legs. Hollywood on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hollywood wants to control but Cha postures up. Cha wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hollywood, who protects the arm well. Cha advances to full mount. Hollywood working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cha cracks Hollywood with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A decent looking cross lands there for Cha. Hollywood listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Cha lands a nice looking body shot.
Hollywood misses with a low kick as Cha jumps back. Hollywood lands a leg kick that knocks Cha off balance momentarily. Hollywood goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Cha Cha has been cut. Hollywood looks to land a left hand but Cha moved out of range nicely. Hollywood cracks Cha with an open hand slap. Cha dives in and scores a takedown into Hollywood's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cha trying to control the position from guard on top but Hollywood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cha tries to free his leg and advance position but Hollywood is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cha won't allow Hollywood to sweep him here. Hollywood keeping moving, preventing Cha from controlling successfully. Cha forces his way into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cha is looking for a kimura but Hollywood is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cha to get the leverage. Hollywood is trying to stand up here but Cha is controlling him well. Hollywood avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cha. Hollywood is looking to escape. Cha has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cha looking to control but Hollywood is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Cha controlling the pace for now. Cha throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Hollywood really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hollywood taking shots to the head. Cha prevents Hollywood from getting the reversal. Cha lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hollywood hang on? Cha looking to control but Hollywood is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Cha lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Cha landing shots from mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cha tries to control but Hollywood wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hollywood tries to hold on but Cha pushes him away. Cha jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hollywood is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hollywood and Cha has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Cha thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cha gets to mount! Hollywood was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cha Cha dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Cha Cha's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Hollywood misses the jab. Cha ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Danga de danga de dang - Cha scores with a four punch combination! Cha ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hollywood moves away. Hollywood misses the shot to the body. Hollywood lands with a slapping head kick. David Hollywood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hollywood throws a wild body kick that Cha sees coming a mile off. Cha checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Cha cracks Hollywood with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Nice defenses there by Hollywood. Hollywood tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cha darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hollywood tries a head kick but it misses.
Hollywood looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Cha thows a left - swing and a miss! Cha slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Cha is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hollywood. Hollywood connects with a body shot that sends Cha's belly button to the back. Hollywood looks to score with a jab to the body but Cha is just out of range. Nice jab there from Cha. Hollywood looks to throw the jab but Cha is out of range. Cha swings widly with a right hand
and Hollywood counters with a stiff right hand. Hollywood clinches. Cha is trying to pull guard but Hollywood has him pressed against the cage. David Hollywood has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hollywood misses with a short punch on the inside. Hollywood has a couple of punches blocked by Cha.

Cha prevents a body shot from Hollywood. Cha wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hollywood has him pressed against the cage. Cha blocks an uppercut.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Hollywood. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hollywood swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Cha has picked Hollywood up - he's going for a ride! Cha dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cha is looking for a kimura here.
Cha is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hollywood kicks off Cha and gets to his feet. Hollywood connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Hollywood looks to land a left hand but Cha moved out of range nicely. Hollywood tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cha swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hollywood waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cha. Hollywood throws a hook but Cha avoids it easily. Jab by Cha. Hollywood connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cha momentarily.
Cha Cha is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hollywood tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cha is able to avoid easily. Hollywood throws a hook but Cha avoids it easily. Hollywood looks to land a left hand but Cha moved out of range nicely. Hollywood pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Cha bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hollywood's head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hollywood bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hollywood's corner calls for a 1-2. Hollywood obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Crunch! Hollywood slams his shin into Cha's torso.
And that's the end of the fight! David Hollywood comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Cha has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
