With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Plank!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plank misses with an uppercut. Fury saw that one coming.
Plank tries to clinch there but Fury circles away.
Plank drops his hands momentarily and Fury takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fury checks a leg kick nicely.
Fury lands a leg kick that knocks Plank off balance momentarily.
Plank pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Plank throws a right hand that Fury ducks under and follows up with a left that Fury also avoids with ease.
Plank lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fury fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Fury misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fury throws out a leg kick but Plank moves out of range and Fury only half commits.
Fury blocks a head kick by Plank.
Fury bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
John Plank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Plank takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Plank tries a head kick but it misses.
Plank swings for the body but Fury moves out of range.
A slapping leg kick lands for Fury.
Fury lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.


It looks like John Plank has been cut.
Fury misses with a body shot.
Fury is looking to score with low kicks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Plank connects with a body shot that sends Fury's belly button to the back.
A jab lands there for Fury.
Plank misses with a head kick.
Fury ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Plank throws a leg kick which misses Fury's front leg but catches the back leg as Fury tries to avoid it.
Fury lands a right hook to the body.
Plank throws an overhand right that lands on Fury's shoulder, as Fury tries to avoid the shot.
Fury throws a hook but Plank blocks it.
Fury cracks Plank with a right hand to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Plank looks to throw a body kick
and Fury counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Plank! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Fury!
Nick Fury retains his middleweight title!
