Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Igor Svetnela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Svetnela might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Angel of Death by Slayer. Frank Angel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svetnela uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Angel.
Angel shoots in looking for a takedown but Svetnela manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Angel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Angel just misses with a punch to the body.
Svetnela slips a jab and a cross from Angel.
Svetnela throws a head kick but Angel moves out of range.
Svetnela throws a body punch but Angel moves out of range.
Svetnela thows a body shot but no joy.
Angel throws a jab when Svetnela was well out of range.
Svetnela throws a quick inside leg kick.
Angel uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Svetnela.
Svetnela throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Svetnela lands a nice hook to Angel's body. Angel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Angel tries to bum rush Svetnela with a series of wild strikes but Svetnela uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Angel.
A left and a right from Angel both land. Nice combination.

Angel throws a lazy right hand but Svetnela sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Angel shoots and misses
and Svetnela counters with a leg kick.
Igor Svetnela has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Angel.
Svetnela lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Frank Angel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Svetnela scores with a nice strike.
Svetnela throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Angel crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
