The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Owen as he avoids it easily.
Boner looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Owen!
Boner throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Boner misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Boner controlling the pace for now.
Boner postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Owen looks a forlorn figure.

Boner postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Owen badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Boner around the waist but Boner pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Boner is the winner by TKO! Boner jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Large Boner!
