Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tor Nansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francois Grandmasion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nansen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Prodigy - Thunder. Tor Nansen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nansen dodges the punch combination from Grandmasion.
Grandmasion attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Grandmasion feints and then cracks Nansen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nansen down.

Nansen throws out a loose jab but Grandmasion uses good head movement to avoid it.

Nansen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Nansen passes Grandmasion's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Nansen misses with a head shot. Grandmasion uses the momentum to regain guard.

Grandmasion kicks Nansen off and gets to his feet.
Grandmasion throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nansen throws an overhand right that lands on Grandmasion's shoulder, as Grandmasion tries to avoid the shot.
A thudding body kick lands there by Nansen!
Grandmasion scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Nansen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nansen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Grandmasion tries to hold on but Nansen postures up.

Nansen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Nansen mounts Grandmasion! Really nice guard pass there!

Nansen goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Grandmasion is on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oh but Nansen is tightening it up a little... Grandmasion has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Grandmasion reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Grandmasion taps out! nice BJJ there by Nansen!
