Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Julio Driggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Declan Duddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julio Driggs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Declan Duddy!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Driggs misses
and Duddy counters with a leg kick.
Driggs lands a jab-cross combination.
Driggs keeps the fight on the outside.
Driggs tries a head kick but it misses.
Driggs throws a leg kick but Duddy sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Duddy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Driggs feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Duddy's calf.
Duddy tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Duddy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Driggs lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Duddy gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Driggs.
Driggs turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Duddy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Driggs gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Driggs tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Duddy blocks a body shot from Driggs.
Duddy blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Driggs misses with a punch to the body.
Duddy has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Driggs after a bit of a struggle.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Duddy.
Driggs has a couple of punches blocked by Duddy.
Driggs doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Duddy has Driggs pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Driggs manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Duddy has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Driggs after a bit of a struggle.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Julio Driggs dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Driggs throws a sloppy head kick and Duddy moves out of range easily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Duddy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Driggs defends it well.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Driggs keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Duddy wants to work for an arm triangle but Driggs is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Duddy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Driggs defends it well.
Duddy is trying to control the action in half guard but Driggs is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Duddy has Driggs pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Duddy pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Driggs tumbling to the mat - Duddy dives into Driggs's guard.

Duddy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Driggs is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Driggs has escaped and now he's on top!

Driggs got a little sloppy there for a moment and Duddy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Driggs has managed to get both his arms back between Duddy's legs - danger averted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Declan Duddy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Duddy seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Driggs is holding on tight.

Duddy gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Duddy is looking to clinch but Driggs is avoiding it.
A clash of legs there as Duddy blocks the low kick.
Duddy tries a head kick but it misses.
Driggs connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Driggs punishes Duddy's body with a nice straight punch.
Duddy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Driggs tries to avoid it but Duddy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Driggs to the ground. Driggs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Duddy steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Driggs. That one must have hurt.
Duddy's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Duddy throws a head kick but Driggs moves out of range.
Driggs just misses with a punch to the body.

Duddy has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Driggs is fighting off a takedown attempt but Duddy is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Driggs to the mat. Driggs regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Duddy has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Driggs regains guard immediately.

Duddy makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Driggs pulls Duddy in close to prevent any damage.
Declan Duddy has got the better of the ground game so far.
Duddy throws a strike but Driggs rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Driggs would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Declan Duddy.
I think Duddy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Declan Duddy decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
