Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payton doesn't manage to clinch there - Su circles away.
Su fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Payton sprawls well initially but Su persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Su trying to control the action but Payton is working from the bottom.

Payton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Payton wants to control the pace but Su is squirming around nicely.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Payton wants to finish this one by submission but Su is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Payton.
Payton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Su is looking to escape.
Payton has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Su's face.

That's time! Su's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Payton can do anything to dispel that myth.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jew Su.
