Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Bayot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Budo Rei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rei's choice of entrance music: Alice in Chains - No Excuses. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Bayot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Budo Rei! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Bayot. Rei does a little dance to reset his feet. Bayot lands a head shot. Rei throws a low kick but Bayot moves out of range easily. Bayot misses with an uppercut. Bayot scores with a nice right hand.
Bayot connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rei. Rei circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Rei throws a lazy uppercut
and Bayot counters with a straight right hand. Rei throws a hook but Bayot blocks it. Rei connects with an inside leg kick. Nice uppercut there from Bayot. Rei lands the left hand.
It looks like John Bayot has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rei connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Rei avoids the body shot from Bayot.
Rei connects with a right hand. Bayot shakes it off. Rei tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bayot was well out of range. Poor timing from Rei. Budo Rei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rei scores with a nice head shot. Rei fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Rei. Bayot jabs Rei to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rei blocks a head kick by Bayot.
Bayot walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bayot is rocked! Rei misses with a straight right. Rei tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bayot was well out of range. Poor timing from Rei. A slow jab from Bayot misses its intended target. Bayot misses the shot to the body. Bayot checks a leg kick nicely. Bayot connects with a body shot. Bayot takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Oh Bayot is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rei throws a quick inside leg kick. Bayot is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bayot is aggressively charging in as Rei backs up avoiding any damage. Rei tosses out a jab and Bayot runs right into it face first! Bayot is out cold! Rei dropped down on all fours and is barking in Bayot's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Budo Rei! An out of breath Budo Rei thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
