Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kip Pur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frazier is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: HBO Boxing Theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kip Pur ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Frazier! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frazier throws a body punch but Pur moves out of range. Frazier throws a right hand that Pur ducks under and follows up with a left that Pur also avoids with ease. Pur shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Pur throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Pur is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Frazier has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pur sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Pur thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Frazier wants to try and get back to his feet. Pur landing shots from mount. Pur looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. This has been an exciting period of action! Pur throws some wild stikes that Frazier manages to avoid easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pur goes for an armbar but Frazier turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Frazier. Pur has a closed guard, preventing Frazier from standing up. Pur working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Frazier doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Frazier manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Pur seems keen to control Frazier's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pur manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Pur tries to control but Frazier wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pur misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Frazier is squirming around, avoiding Pur 's attempts to control the action. Pur with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Pur throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Frazier has his hands clasped together but Pur breaks the hold and Frazier is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Pur !
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kip Pur !
