The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McThornbody throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Batts counters with a thumping low kick.
Batts lands a nice looking body shot.
McThornbody connects with a good right hand that stumbles Batts. Batts circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Batts connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
McThornbody thows a leg kick but Batts checks it
and Batts counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. McThornbody is lucky that one didn't land flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Batts moves into the clinch.
Batts pushes McThornbody back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Batts scores with a jab.
Batts is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! McThornbody hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Billy Batts!
