The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamfist tries to close the distance and clinch up but Marciano swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Marciano slips a jab and a cross from Hamfist.
Hamfist fails with a takedown attempt.
Marciano scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Hamfist throws a looping overhand right but Marciano ducks down to avoid it.
Hamfist misses with a takedown attempt
and Marciano counters with a nice body kick.
Hamfist wants to clinch but Marciano slips to the side
and Marciano counters with a slapping leg kick.
Hamfist shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Marciano defends it nicely.
Leonardo Marciano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mookie Hamfist.
Hamfist looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Marciano circles away from the clinch attempt.
Marciano connects with a leg kick. Hamfist looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Marciano lands a big head kick that sends Hamfist tumbling to the mat! Marciano takes a step backwards and waves Hamfist back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hamfist is rocked!
It looks like Mookie Hamfist has been cut.
Marciano dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hamfist. That did some damage!
Hamfist is still on wobbly legs! Can Marciano finish him?
Marciano lands a body shot.
Marciano lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Hamfist crumples to the floor! Marciano milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
