Borga comes to the cage accompanied by People In Planes - Last Man Standing. McKenzie has chosen Man From Atlantis as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenzie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Borga.
Jab, jab by McKenzie - just one landing.
McKenzie fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
McKenzie throws a nice outside leg kick.
Borga scores with a body shot.
McKenzie lands a nice shot to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Borga darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Namor McKenzie has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McKenzie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Borga was well out of range. Poor timing from McKenzie.
Borga comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Borga catches McKenzie with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A slapping leg kick lands for Borga.
McKenzie looks gassed!
Borga cracks McKenzie on the jaw with a powerful right hand and McKenzie falls backwards against the cage. Borga follows up with more strikes that drop McKenzie to his knees. Borga keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save McKenzie! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aleksi Borga!
