Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ivan Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rage Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blade has chosen Nows My Time as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ivan Kozlov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 13 - 2, fighting out of New York, Rage Blade!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov keeps the fight on the outside.
Kozlov is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Blade throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kozlov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kozlov connects with a body shot that sends Blade's belly button to the back.
Blade defending well as Kozlov loads up on a big left hand.
Blade staying out of range there.
Blade is looking to clinch but Kozlov is avoiding it.
Blade misses with a few strikes there.

Blade has managed to clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Kozlov throws a punch but it's blocked by Blade.
Kozlov misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kozlov stalling in the clinch but Blade improves position.
A nice right hand lands inside from Blade.
Kozlov lands an uppercut.
Blade has Kozlov pressed against the cage, preventing Kozlov from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Kozlov tries to work over Blade's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kozlov is trying to break the clinch but Blade is controlling him.

Kozlov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A slow jab from Blade misses its intended target.
Kozlov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Blade tries to close the distance and clinch but Kozlov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kozlov takes a swing at Blade's ribcage but misses.
Blade is looking to clinch but Kozlov is avoiding it.
Kozlov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ivan Kozlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blade throws a looping overhand right but Kozlov ducks down to avoid it.

Blade moves into the clinch successfully.
Kozlov tries to work over Blade's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kozlov gets through Blade's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Kozlov working some nice short punches in the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Blade takes a shot to the head.
Kozlov leaning against his opponent.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Blade.
Kozlov wants to get back to striking at distance but Blade won't allow it.
Blade lands a shoulder strike.
Blade prevents a body shot from Kozlov.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kozlov wants to break the clinch but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kozlov tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Blade's elbow.
Blade lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kozlov or not.
Blade is trying to maintain a safe position but Kozlov gets an underhook and turns Blade into the cage.
Kozlov throws a head punch that misses.
Blade tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Kozlov tries to throw a body punch but Blade avoids it by throwing Kozlov back against the cage.
Kozlov can't find room to land a body shot as Blade controls the action.
Kozlov working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Blade comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like Ivan Kozlov has been cut.
Kozlov wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Blade lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kozlov backwards.
Blade missing with knees to the body.

Kozlov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kozlov's jab looks to have found its range, popping Blade under the eye.
Blade scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Blade wants to clinch.
Blade clobbers Kozlov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Blade throws out a powerful jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ivan Kozlov will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ivan Kozlov's cut.
That's time! Kozlov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Blade tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kozlov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kozlov looks to score with a jab to the body but Blade is just out of range.
Kozlov lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Blade swats away the attempt to clinch by Kozlov.
Kozlov keeps Blade at a distance using the push kick.
A left lands for Blade.
Blade fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kozlov tries to clinch there but Blade circles away.
Kozlov misses with a leg kick.
Kozlov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Blade darts in trying to clinch
and Kozlov counters with a big head kick but Blade shrugs it off.
Rage Blade seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kozlov throws an overhand right that lands on Blade's shoulder, as Blade tries to avoid the shot.

Blade forces Kozlov back against the cage and clinches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kozlov takes a knee right on the jaw!
Ivan Kozlov has scored more points in the clinch so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blade blocks a body shot from Kozlov.
Blade misses with an elbow strike.
Blade working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
A frustrated look appears on Kozlov's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Blade lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.


Kozlov is rocked!
Blade lands a body punch in the clinch.
Oh Kozlov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Blade swings wildly with an uppercut but Kozlov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kozlov blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Blade throws a head punch that misses.
Blade creates a bit of space and fires a knee right up the middle, almost lifting Kozlov off his feet and sending him crashing to the canvas! Kozlov is trying to get back to his feet but his equilibrium is completely gone! The referee has called it off! This fight is over! Blade is jumping up and down like a mad man, celebrating with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Rage Blade!
Post fight, Rage Blade stared into the camera and said 'I want that title baby lezz gooo'.
