Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frazier has chosen HBO Boxing Theme as his entrance music. Joe Frazier will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tim Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Frazier! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frazier swinging wildly here.
Frazier misses with an uppercut. Johnson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Frazier takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Frazier keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Tim Johnson has been cut. Johnson throws a body punch but Frazier moves out of range. Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss. A punch combination from Frazier misses. Frazier swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Joe Frazier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson slips under a jab from Frazier. An inside leg kick lands from Johnson. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Frazier fails to land with a series of punches.
Frazier takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Frazier avoids the body shot from Johnson.
Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss. Johnson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
An elbow from Johnson crashes against the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frazier wants to control but Johnson postures up. Johnson cracks Frazier with a big right hand but Frazier just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Frazier is trying to control Johnson's posture but Johnson avoids it. Johnson is chipping away with strikes.
Johnson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Frazier is looking to regain half guard here but Johnson keeps moving and retains side control. Johnson throws a strike aimed at the side of Frazier's head but Frazier avoids it well. Johnson misses with an attempted head punch from side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnson scoring with punches from side control. Frazier wants to control but Johnson postures up. Frazier is trying to get back to his feet. Johnson cracks Frazier with a big right hand but Frazier just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Johnson lands some shots froms side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frazier is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Frazier is rocked! Johnson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd goes nuts as Johnson knocks Frazier out cold with a massive hammerfist! Johnson Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
