The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gromowski throws a leg kick which misses Douglas's front leg but catches the back leg as Douglas tries to avoid it.
Douglas throws a low kick, looking for Gromowski's leg but Gromowski calmly moves out of range.
Gromowski walks into a left hand.
Gromowski lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gromowski scores with a jab. Douglas acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Gromowski is looking to clinch but Douglas is avoiding it.
Douglas ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Douglas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Douglas smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Gromowski fakes the leg kick and cracks Douglas in the body.
Douglas connects with a leg kick. Gromowski looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

and Douglas counters with a nice right hand that sends Gromowski toppling to the canvas! Gromowski scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Douglas finish him?!

Gromowski chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Douglas can pounce on him.

Gromowski walks straight into a right hand from Douglas - that's dropped him! Douglas jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Gromowski from any more punishment! Gromowski complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
