Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Budo Rei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rahman Jones!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rei fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
Rei throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jones with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Rei connects with a leg kick. Jones looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Rei keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jones.
Rei keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rei circles away quickly and effectively.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Jones loads up on a big right hand but Rei slips the punch.
Rei feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Joness jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones misses with a straight left.
Rei tries a head kick but it misses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Rei.
Jones doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Jones avoids a kick to the body.
Rei jabs Jones to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Rei lands with a kick to the ribs.
Jones looks gassed!
Rei fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Rei throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Rei dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jones. That did some damage!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Rei.

Rei gets a clinch.
Rei pushes Jones back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Rei manages to break the clinch.
Rei pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones misses with a right hand
and Rei counters with an outside leg kick.
Rei digs a good body shot into Jones's ribs.

Rei connects with a solid leg kick.
Jones on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Rei tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Budo Rei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Rei punishes Jones's body with a nice straight punch.

Rei forces Jones back against the cage and clinches.
Rei misses with a knee strike.
Rei lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
Rei has Jones pushed against the cage.
Jones misses with a short punch on the inside.
Rei lands with a light punch inside.
Jones has a couple of punches blocked by Rei.
Rei has Jones pushed against the cage.
Jones misses with some punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rei misses with a body punch.
Rei lands with a short shot to the head.
Rei scores with a hook to the body.

Rei breaks from the clinch.
Rei lands an overhand right.
Rei keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rei scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jones doesn't seem bothered though.
Jones stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rei.

Oooooh!!! Rei has knocked Jones down with a huge combo! Rei steps away and waves a wobbly Jones back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Rei ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Rei lands a jab to Jones's midsection.

Rei closes the distance and clinches.
Rei pushes Jones back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A body shot lands from Rei.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rei tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Nice body punch from Rei - that landed with a thud.
A knee to the head by Rei.
A hook to the body from Rei.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rei creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Rei displaying some good clinch control by pressing Jones up against the cage.
Rei seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Rei cracks Jones with a nice body shot.
Rei lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jones's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Knees to the body from Rei.
Rei using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jones has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rei blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Budo Rei dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rei finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones's head.
Jones misses with an uppercut
enabling Rei to counter with a crisp jab.

Rei feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jones sprawling to the canvas! Jones rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rei finish him?!

Jones is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Rei counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Jones badly! He tries to strike back but Rei puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Jones out cold! Oh man, Jones will never hear the end of this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Budo Rei!
During a confident post fight interview, Budo Rei thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
