Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Djoser Rei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mitch McDonald!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rei moves forwards but McDonald connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Djoser Rei has been cut.
Djoser Rei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rei ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McDonald moves away.
Rei steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McDonald.
Rei stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Rei tries to move into range but McDonald moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McDonald moves out of range of the body kick.
McDonald tries a low kick but Rei avoids it.
McDonald throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rei sees it coming and avoids it easily.
An inside leg kick lands from McDonald.
McDonald throws a body punch but Rei moves out of range.
McDonald lands with a right hand.
McDonald scores with a sloppy right hand. Rei should have avoided that one.
McDonald lands with a right hand.
Rei scoring well with a low kick there.
McDonald scores with a jab to the body.
McDonald stalks Rei and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rei's face. Rei staggers backwards, shaken.
Rei tries to close the distance and clinch up but McDonald swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rei tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. McDonald manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
McDonald tries to work over Rei's front leg with a kick but Rei checks it.
Rei keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McDonald.
Rei checks a low kick from McDonald.
A big left from Rei misses.
Rei tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. McDonald manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rei keeps McDonald at a distance using the push kick.
Rei lands a leg kick that knocks McDonald off balance momentarily.
McDonald lands a head shot.
Rei turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rei throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Rei misses with a double jab
and McDonald counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Rei ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McDonald moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rei shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rei connects with a solid leg kick.
Rei lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Mitch McDonald has been cut.
McDonald thuds his right hand into Rei's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Rei looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
McDonald looks gassed!
McDonald stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rei.
Good exchange - Rei coming out on top.
Rei lands a glancing blow to the side of McDonald's head.
McDonald throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rei throws the kick towards the body but McDonald avoids it.
A telegraphed right hand from Rei misses the target.
Rei throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
McDonald is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Rei had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Rei drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks McDonald right on the button. McDonald goes down! Rei follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Rei gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Djoser Rei!
