Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Budo Rei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Gilmour (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rei might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Alice in Chains - No Excuses. Gilmour is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: i Get Knocked Down, But i Get Up Again. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Rei takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Gilmour will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rei up against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Budo Rei will probably get the nod.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Rei here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Gilmour takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
