Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ignatius Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danza Kuduro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuduro has chosen Suikoden IV - A Formidable Enemy Arrives as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ignatius Reilly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danza Kuduro! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Reilly.
Reilly scores with a jab. Kuduro acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Reilly throws a lazy right hand but Kuduro sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Reilly throws the kick towards the body but Kuduro avoids it. Reilly thows a body shot but no joy. Kuduro cracks Reilly with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Ignatius Reilly has been cut. Reilly lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Reilly moves out of range of the body kick. Reilly forces Kuduro back against the cage and clinches. Kuduro lands a body shot in the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action! Reilly's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The crowd cheers as Kuduro lands an impressive looking overhand right. Reilly doesn't seem phased though. Reilly misses with a wild body shot. Nice body kick there by Kuduro.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reilly thows a body shot but no joy. Reilly lands a head shot. Kuduro jabs at Reilly's body. Reilly thows a leg kick but Kuduro checks it and Kuduro counters with a nice leg kick. Reilly takes a swing at Kuduro's ribcage but misses. Reilly misses the shot to the body. Reilly keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Reilly is looking to wear down Kuduro with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Kuduro throws a leg kick but Reilly checks it. Kuduro misses with the body kick and Reilly counters with a nice kick to the body. Kuduro just misses with a punch to the body.
Kuduro takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kuduro slips a straight right by Reilly. Ignatius Reilly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reilly motions for Kuduro to come forward. Reilly throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Reilly connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kuduro's hands. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Reilly lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kuduro has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kuduro and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Kuduro is looking to land body kicks. Reilly throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Kuduro to counter with a crisp jab. Kuduro keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ignatius Reilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reilly moves out of range of the body kick. Reilly defending well as Kuduro loads up on a big left hand. Kuduro blocks a head kick by Reilly.
Kuduro checks the leg kick. Reilly slips under a jab. Reilly with a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reilly throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kuduro sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kuduro tries a head kick but it misses.
A leg kick checked by Reilly. Kuduro tries to work over Reilly's front leg with a kick but Reilly checks it. Kuduro lets loose with a powerful body kick. Reilly will feel that in the morning. Kuduro throws out a loose jab but Reilly uses good head movement to avoid it. Reilly pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Reilly scores with a body shot.
Reilly is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. A nice inside leg kick there by Kuduro. That's going to slow Reilly down. Reilly jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kuduro chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuduro cracks the inside of Reilly's front leg. Reilly scores with the left hand. Kuduro knows he should have avoided that one. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kuduro tries to land a leg kick but Reilly saw it coming and moves away.

Reilly walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Kuduro lands a nice leg kick that just misses Reilly's sensitive parts. Kuduro connects with a body shot. Kuduro will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Reilly tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kuduro is able to avoid easily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kuduro takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A jab from Reilly misses. Good work by Kuduro as he checks the leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Danza Kuduro will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ignatius Reilly's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Reilly takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kuduro connects with a good right hand that stumbles Reilly. Reilly circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Reilly thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kuduro if he has to take too many more of those.
Reilly slips under a jab from Kuduro. Reilly misses with a leg kick and Kuduro counters with a stiff right hand. Reilly tried to score with a low kick but Kuduro checks it. Reilly misses with a hook. Kuduro ducked under it nicely. Reilly avoids the head kick by Kuduro.
Reilly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kuduro was well out of range. Poor timing from Reilly. Kuduro avoids a kick to the body.

and Reilly counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Reilly staying out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuduro is looking to land body kicks. Kuduro throws a chopping leg kick but Reilly manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Kuduro misses with a hook. Reilly ducked under it nicely. Reilly scoring well with a low kick there.
Reilly jabbing away but nothing is landing. Danza Kuduro seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kuduro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reilly manages to avoid it. Reilly lands a lovely overhand right. Reilly misses with a wild body shot. Kuduro blocks a head kick by Reilly.
Reilly scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kuduro doesn't seem bothered though. Reilly chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kuduro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kuduro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reilly was well out of range. Poor timing from Kuduro. Reilly attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Kuduro lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. This has been an exciting period of action! Reilly has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kuduro. Reilly waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kuduro. Kuduro waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Reilly. Reilly lands a leg kick that knocks Kuduro off balance momentarily. A slow jab from Reilly misses its intended target. Reilly goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Reilly ducks under a wild hook from Kuduro.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuduro swats away the attempt to clinch by Reilly. Reilly takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Kuduro checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kuduro throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Reilly connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kuduro looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kuduro throws a looping overhand right but Reilly ducks down to avoid it. A low kick from Kuduro misses and Reilly counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Reilly lands a slapping body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reilly connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kuduro. Kuduro circles away out of range and recomposes himself. A slapping leg kick lands for Reilly.
An inside leg kick from Kuduro misses. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Reilly fails with an attempt to clinch.
Reilly bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Nice shot lands for Reilly. Kuduro on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Reilly connects with a body shot. A slow jab from Kuduro misses its intended target. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Reilly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Reilly tries to land a front kick but Kuduro steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A swing and a miss from Reilly. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ignatius Reilly dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Ignatius Reilly's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Kuduro throws a leg kick which misses Reilly's front leg but catches the back leg as Reilly tries to avoid it. Reilly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kuduro was well out of range. Poor timing from Reilly. Reilly lands a two punch combo.
Reilly lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Reilly uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kuduro.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kuduro, as that shot connected.
Kuduro attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Reilly lands with a kick to the ribs.
Reilly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A nice leg kick lands there from Reilly. Reilly moves out of range as Kuduro throws a body kick.
Kuduro misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reilly stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Reilly throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Reilly scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kuduro in his tracks. Kuduro takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Reilly just misses with a punch to the body.
Kuduro comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kuduro throws a low kick but it's checked well by Reilly. Kuduro attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Reilly clinches up against the cage. Kuduro is working for takedown but Reilly is calmly controlling the position for now. Kuduro has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Reilly is trying to keep an underhook but Kuduro manages to get the takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kuduro controlling the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reilly trying to control but Kuduro postures up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Reilly is trying to stand up here but Kuduro is controlling him well. Kuduro thows a huge punch but Reilly dodges it nicely.
Reilly is trying to maintain the position but Kuduro is very close to passing his half guard. Kuduro trying to control from half guard but Reilly is working away. Reilly blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kuduro.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reilly tries to get to full guard but Kuduro has control of the leg. Kuduro is looking to take a break and control but Reilly is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Horrible takedown by Kuduro or perhaps it was just good defense by Reilly which made him look bad. Kuduro fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Reilly is out of range. Good leg kick by Reilly there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kuduro clobbers Reilly with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Reilly scores with a push kick. Reilly keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuduro scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Reilly blocks the body kick.
Kuduro shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Reilly goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Kuduro throws a hook to the side of Reilly's head but Reilly sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kuduro fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reilly lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kuduro tries to move into range but Reilly moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A jab from Kuduro does it's job there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kuduro feints and then cracks Reilly's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reilly down. Reilly tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ignatius Reilly. I think Reilly has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
