Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sam Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Masters! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Tony Masters has been cut. A looping hook to the body misses from Anderson. Masters does a little dance to reset his feet. Anderson tries to close the distance and clinch but Masters swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Good work by Masters as he checks the leg kick. Anderson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Masters misses with an uppercut. Masters fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Masters pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Anderson throws a lazy right hand but Masters sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Anderson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. The fighters circling - Masters throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Masters connects with a leg kick. Anderson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. This has been an exciting period of action! Masters avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Anderson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Masters has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Masters and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Anderson misses with a lunging right hand
and Masters counters with a nice low kick that buckles Anderson's knee momentarily. Masters scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Masters misses with a low kick. Masters takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Anderson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Masters manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Anderson wants to slow Masters down by chopping away at his legs. Masters looks for the body kick but Anderson saw that one coming. Masters thows a leg kick but Anderson checks it and Anderson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Masters checks a low kick from Anderson. Masters takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Masters circles away from the clinch attempt.

This isn't 1993 though, so Masters shrugs it off. Anderson unloads with some shots from mount but Masters bucks and avoids them well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson trying to control from half guard but Masters is working away. Sam Anderson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Anderson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Masters attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. A lazy body kick from Masters and Masters takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Anderson lands with a kick to the ribs.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Masters cracks Anderson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Anderson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Masters pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Anderson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 5, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Masters! During a confident post fight interview, Tony Masters thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
