Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marko Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Totto Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kersikov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Skillet - Awake and Alive. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlsson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kersikov lands with a good body shot.
Karlsson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kersikov fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Karlsson checks it well.

and Kersikov counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Totto Karlsson has been cut.
Karlsson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Totto Karlsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kersikov.
Karlsson darts in trying to clinch
and Kersikov counters with a crisp one two that drops Karlsson! Kersikov thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Karlsson to his feet! Karlsson is in big trouble!

Karlsson is still on wobbly legs! Can Kersikov finish him?
Kersikov sends Karlsson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kersikov is motioning to the referee to let Karlsson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Karlsson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kersikov counters with a huge right that knocks Karlsson out cold! Kersikov is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Marko Kersikov!
After winning the bout, Marko Kersikov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
