Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jett Jaggers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronny Bruvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruvik has chosen Rånny Bruvik as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaggers throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bruvik is looking to clinch.
Jaggers misses with a few strikes there.
Bruvik tries to close the distance and clinch but Jaggers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jaggers misses with a takedown attempt - Bruvik sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jaggers misses the shot to the body.
Jaggers throws a leg kick which misses Bruvik's front leg but catches the back leg as Bruvik tries to avoid it.
Jaggers throws a shot from downtown. Bruvik moves away and avoids it.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Bruvik is pressed up against the cage. Jaggers has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bruvik down to the mat. Bruvik avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Bruvik has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jaggers's face.

Bruvik lands a big shot there that rocks Jaggers but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Jaggers shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Bruvik scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Jaggers manages to mount him!
Jaggers misses with some ground and pound and Bruvik recovers position to half guard.

Bruvik lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Bruvik tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bruvik has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bruvik is looking to take a break and control but Jaggers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jaggers covers up after that shot from Bruvik.
Bruvik slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Bruvik is trying to stick to Jaggers's back but Jaggers is turning into Bruvik. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bruvik's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jaggers.
