Noriega comes to the cage accompanied by GO TO SLEEP. Knox has chosen Malukah & Wolfgang - The Dragonborn Comes as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Knox moves into range and connects with a jab.

Knox keeps Noriega at a distance using the push kick.
Noriega blocks a head kick by Knox.
Knox throws a jab when Noriega was well out of range.
Nice body punch from Knox.
Knox throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Oooooh!!! Noriega has knocked Knox down with a huge combo! Noriega steps away and waves a wobbly Knox back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Johnny Knox has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Noriega takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Knox throws a body punch but Noriega moves out of range.
Noriega lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Noriega wants to control from the top but Knox keeps moving.

Knox bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Noriega's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Johnny Knox was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Noriega takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Johnny Knox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some bone on bone action there as Knox checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Horrible takedown by Noriega or perhaps it was just good defense by Knox which made him look bad.

Noriega ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Noriega pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Knox fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Noriega checks it well.
Noriega throws a low kick, looking for Knox's leg but Knox calmly moves out of range.
Knox loads up on a big right hand but Noriega slips the punch.
Knox thows a body shot but no joy.
Noriega throws a combination. Knox tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Noriega scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Knox doesn't seem bothered though.

Noriega throws a chopping leg kick but Knox manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

and Noriega counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Noriega throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Knox's waist but Knox gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Noriega off to one side.
Knox uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Noriega.
Knox drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Knox fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Noriega.
Knox moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

A punch lands to the side of Noriega 's head but he takes it in his stride.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Noriega shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Noriega was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Knox tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Noriega is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Noriega cracks Knox with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
